Ernestine is the world's oldest competitive female bodybuilder and has even started her own online fitness program at the age of 71. For Ernestine the transformation began when she was 56 and decided she needed to make a change. Always having an interest in body building she hit the internet to find training and health information. After finding a trainer her journey began and she has been going strong ever since.
So what does the granny with a six-pack do to workout? Everyday she wakes up at 3 a.m. to mediate and follows it with a 10 mile (16 km) run. Having a first breakfast before her run and a second after, Ernestine is given the energy she needs to maintain a heavy workout regimen. Once she is finished with her second breakfast she is back out the door to hit the gym. Talk about devotion!
