Solar Powered Car Charging Station
A solar powered charging station for electric cars, bikes and scooters designed by Kjellgren Kaminsky that additionally offers weather protection, waiting rooms, a bike repair shop, outdoor gym, cafe and informational kiosks all wifi connected.
The angled wooden truss construction was designed for three plots in angered, rosenlund and hogsbo and while the project is still in a conceptual phase, the capabilities of energy-providing, carbon footprint-minimizing architecture is important for the discourse of the ever-changing and increasingly impactful urban landscape.
The structure offers drivers multiple resources and the ability to multitask whilst charging their vehicles. Locally sourced wood completes the scalable sustainable urban vision.
