Auckland! Located in the North Island of New Zealand, Auckland is the largest and most populated city in the country. Auckland lies on and around a narrow strip of land between the Mangere Inlet and the Tamaki River, with harbors in both the north and the south. With all that water around, you better believe that there are some stunning beaches.



Head to the breathtaking Bethells beach and sink your toes in the black sand before cooling off with some surfing or hang gliding. If you get tired of the beach, you can take a walk through Cornwall Park, check out the view from the top of the Sky Tower, catch a netball game at the Vector Arena, or visit the Auckland Zoo. And of course, no trip to New Zealand would be complete without visiting a winery or two.
