Transit Truck Made of Stainless Steel Balls

"Transit" is a sculpture by artist Valay Shende, based in Mumbai, which has been a full-size truck made entirely of stainless steel balls and carries 22 people. It took 18 months to gather thousands of balls between them and are there to symbolize a tribute to the drama of suicides in Indian farms, in the last decade. Work exposed to Mumbai City Museum this month.
