The KiraVan - All Terrain Future Truck

The KiraVan is a hi-tech truck/van designed for the people who love to travel in groups. The base for the KiraVan is a Mercedes-Benz truck and this has an attached trailer that houses the living quarters. The concept for the vehicle comes in the form of an all-terrain tractor-trailer. It was built using the Unimog frame of Mercedes-Benz and power is by way of a 260hp turbo-diesel engine. Under typical driving conditions the van offers a range of 2,000 miles. It has the ability to carry food, water and plenty of supplies to last three people, three weeks travelling on the road.

The KiraVan has been packed out with some of the latest technology and features that you would only find on expedition/survival trucks. Some of the main features of the truck include the advanced communications system along with vehicle positioning and preservation systems. The roof of the vehicle holds a wide variety of satellite communication antennas along with high intensity lighting. There is also one of the most advanced cockpits, along the lines of what you would see in an airplane.

Opposite the office area is the kitchen; this is full sized and comes complete with a dining room, stove, oven and a fridge. Over the kitchen is a bedroom and also a pop-up bedroom for Kira above it. The bathroom offers anyone taking a shower one of the best views thanks to the skylight above.
