The Prahran Hotel
The Prahran Hotel isn’t actually a hotel at all; it’s a pub and an amazing one at that. Renovations were recently completed on the project, and it’s up and running with a giant street-facing wall made from concrete pipes that now serve as booths. With views out onto the street and into the interior, the pub is a perfect place for people watching and tossing back a few beers. The renovation was designed by Melbourne-based Techné Architects, who incorporated natural materials, reclaimed wood, interior plants and lots of natural lighting. The result is a great place to hang out with friends and meet new people.
