Caterham Hybrid Electric Bicycles
Caterham, a British automaker has introduced three models of electric bikes which have pedals and an electric motor to make the bicycle move. The electric power is supplied by a 250W brushless motor which is connected to a 36V lithium battery that uses the rider's pedal power to charge itself.
The Carbon E-Bike features an 8-speed Shinamo Nexus internally geared hub. The bike is capable of traveling 50 miles on a single charge of the lithium battery and once the power runs out, you can just pedal it to charge the battery as you move along.
