Celebrity Cricket League India - Opening Ceremony

The Celebrity Cricket League combines two popular Indian religions, Bollywood and cricket, to produce great entertainment for the Indian audience. CCL kicked off in Bengaluru at an elaborate ceremony with actor Salman Khan declaring the games open.

The first edition of the star-packed Twenty20 extravaganza CCL begins on June 4, in Bengaluru and the finals will be held in Hyderabad on June 12.
Celebrity Cricket League Teams
The Telugu Warriors is owned by Vishnu Manchu. The team is led by Venkatesh and has names like Vishnu, Tarun, Siddarth, Srikanth and Nitin, among others playing for it.The Mumbai Heroes is owned by Sohail Khan Entertainment. The team will be captained by Suniel Shetty and has Salman Khan (as their icon player), Riteish Deshmukh, Sohail Khan, Arbaaz Khan, Sonu Sood, Harman Baweja, Aftab Shivdasani, Dino Morea, Kunal Khemu and Mahesh Manjrekar among others.
Chennai Rhinos is owned by Prasad MD of GVR Infra and Raja Rao Chairman Prathyusha Group. The team is led by Suriya, boasts of names like Madhavan, Abbas, Vishal and others.
Karnataka Bulldozers is owned by Ashok Kheny, industrialist-cum-producer, who is the owner of Nandi Infrastructure Corridor Enterprises (NICE). The team is led by Sudeep.
