The 154th-ranked Kudryavtseva, playing in only her third career Wimbledon match, sent her third-seeded fellow Russian Sharapova packing in 6-2, 6-4 fashion on Court 1 in 2nd round.
"She had nothing to lose," Sharapova said. "She went for her shots. I can't be really happy about anything today."
