Infinium: Solar Powered Car - Racing Giant

Infinium is the tenth generation of solar-powered vehicles presented at Henry Ford Museum, a space dedicated to automotive technology of yesterday, today ... and tomorrow. This is a job completed by a student project which has the interesting offer.

Infinium groped in fact going to solve what is the biggest flaw of electric cars namely the lack of autonomy which limits their use in areas having no professional or improvised charging stations. Infinium is able to travel up to 500 km without the Sun!

The tenth generation of solar cars UM exhibited in the prestigious American museum is the work of 150 engineering students and uses a special type of panel much more sensitive and efficient, can be compared to that mounted on satellites by NASA. Addition, a special motor is mounted inside each wheel to make the most of this energy by increasing efficiency of 98%.
