The Lancia di Lancia is a second collaboration between Italian shipyard SACS and Fiat. Rather than turning to Yamaha for propulsion, the Italian automaker kept it in-house with a pair of 6.7-liter, 24-valve, common-rail direct injection inline-six turbodiesels from Fiat Powertrain Technologies – each generating a whopping 560 horsepower for a total combined output of (carry the two, divide by Pi) 1120 sea-horses. That's enough to propel the 8.5-ton speedboat to 48 knots – the maritime equivalent of 55 miles per hour.
