Nissan Terrano SUV Wallpapers - Indian Version
Japanese car maker Nissan has officially unveiled the Terrano SUV. The unveiling's main takeaway is that we finally get to have a glimpse at the interiors of the SUV, now that the exteriors of the SUV have already leaked out. From the single picture of the interiors, we can make out that the Terrano features better interiors than the Duster. Beige trim dominates the insides of the Terrano and wood inserts have also been used to give the interiors a more premium look and feel.
The Terrano will require better interiors as the SUV is said to be positioned above the Renault Duster in terms of pricing. A sub-10 lakh rupee price tag will be where the base version of the Terrano will be positioned at. Based on the Renault Duster, the Terrano is a badge engineered model that comes with different styling including new front and rear ends. The alloy wheels riding on 16 inchers are also new items. So, that’s pretty much what’s new on the Terrano.
The SUV’s tech specs haven’t been revealed yet with Nissan choosing to keep them a secret till the official launch of the Terrano in early October. The SUV is expected to share its engines and gearboxes with the Duster. So, petrol and diesel engined versions of the Terrano are a given. The SUV will be made available in 6 colours. The Terrano is the second SUV to be sold by Nissan in India, after the CBU import X-Trail model. The Terrano will be built alongside the Duster at the Renault-Nissan joint manufacturing facility at Oragadam, Chennai.
With the Nissan Terrano’s launch, the Renault-Nissan alliance will be hoping to sell more SUVs in India as the combined number of 200+ dealerships will allow the car makers to reach more customers across the country.
