Tomoji Tanabe the world's oldest,died in his sleep at his home in southern Japan ( 19-Jun-09) .He was 113.Tanabe died of heart failure.Tanabe was born on Sept.18,1895, had eight children.who lived with a son and daughter-in- law, had eight children, 25 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren and six great-great- grandchildren.
He was certified by Guiness World Records as the world's oldest man when he was 111 years old..Tanabe,
Tanabe drank only milk and does not take alcohol and did not smoke.Tanabe was "the symbol of the Miyakonojo known as a city of long life."
