Ali Moeen Nawazish , is an 18 year old Pakistani student notable for passing 23 A Levels in one year in his home country of Pakistan - the highest number of A levels qualifications undertaken in any one year (12 months) in the world and is aclaimed to have been a record. He is reported to have received twenty-one A grades, one grade B and one grade C. His grade B was in Chemistry and grade C was for "General Further Mathematics". Currently he is studying Computer Science at Cambridge University, England. Nawaz-ish claimed to be a "below average " student and claims that before he had undertaken the 23 A Levels, he wasn't good at his O Levels for which he received nine A grades. Nawaz-ish had applied for the Ivy Leagues and the Oxbridge universities. He was accepted for all but decided to pursue Cambridge in the end.

Ali Moeen is also working on a project known as stepUP Pakistan which has several parts aimed to improve the education in his home country, Pakistan, through several ways such as gathering funds, giving multi-media aided lectures and giving advice on the college application process to interested student. It also includes a 24 hours counseling website The A Level Challenge which will help students from around the world. It would be designed to give personal advice to around 1500 students every day. Students from many of the world's prestigious universities will help students through this website.
