The last week released Aaja Nachle got jammed when the movie was stopped from being released in UP, Punjab and Haryana. Later the ban on the movie was lifted when the controversial song lyrics were removed from the movie but the opening of the movie in India was below expectations.
The benefit of advertising the movie as a come back movie of Madhuri Dixit and the famous dances in the movie were not sufficient enough to get huge audience for the movie.
The movie got a better response from the movie goers to multiplexes. Small town in India did not get good audience for the movie .The other release of last week Gauri –The unborn was straightway rejected by the audience for its absurd story and message.
The movie that is fairing well without being much promoted is Jab We Met .The movie was released in October last week and after the release of OSO and Saawariya on Nov 9 it was expected that the movie will not gain much but the movies released on November 9 couldn’t effect the success of Jab We Met and the last movie of Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor together is gaining magically on the box office.
The other movie release of the last week is Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal and this movie is also not fairing well in most of the places on the box office. The lead actor of the movie John Abraham said in an interview that his movie is not getting promoted like the movies of Shahrukh Khan and so the movie are not fairing well on the box office.
On December 7 two big movies are to be released and these are Khoya Khoya Chand and Dus Kahaaniyan. A small but significant movie Stranger will also be released on December 7.The audiences’ reaction can make a small movie to gain better than big ones but before the release everything is unexpected in Bollywood.
