It was once open and so full of love
Feelings sent from heaven up above

Now it is broken the pieces scattered
So long in my life only one mattered

Emptiness replaced what has been lost
Love taken away, just like trash tossed

Lifetime dreams and hopes cast away
Visions flash thru my mind each day

Making it ache more instead of less
Oh this heart of mine is in such a mess

The days will never become any shorter
The nights, they will only grow longer

It is still closed as since reality set in
So to carry on in life is possible alone .....
