Ricky Gervais To Host 2011 Golden Globe Awards

It is being reported that Ricky Gervais will return to host the Golden Globes next year.

He received negative ratings after his hosting gig in January but organizers of the event want him back.

He may have made fun of issues that he should’ve left alone, including Paul McCartney and Heather Mills’ expensive divorce along with Mel Gibson’s troubles with booze.

Gervais stated: “I suppose it is flattering, to be honest, and it was a surprise. I had so much fun last year.â€￾

He added: “I’m going to go out all this time. I’m going to make sure they’re never going to invite me back. I can’t believe they invited me back after awful things I said. Let’s see how far I can take it this time.â€￾

That statement alone should be enough to draw a good television audience to the 2011 Golden Globe award ceremony held January 16, 2011.
