Rainlendar is a customizable calendar that displays the current month.
Rainlendar Lite is a very lightweight application that doesn't use much system resources or take much space on your desktop.
Rainlendar is a feature rich calendar application that is easy to useand doesn't take much space on your desktop. The appearance can becustomized with skins and you can even mix different skins together.
It is possible to use Rainlendar with other calendar applicationstoo. Rainlendar uses the standard iCalendar format to store its eventsand tasks so you can easily transfer them between applications. You canalso subscribe to online calendars and see your Outlook appointmentsdirectly in Rainlendar.
Rainlendar is an unicode application and support localization so you can use it on your own language.
All the coming events are shown in a separate list where you cansee the week's events at one glance. You can decide how many days inadvance you want to see in the list. Different events can have adifferent appearance in the list so you can easily spot the importantevents from the others. The icons in the calendar are also available inthe event list and other windows to make it easier to separate theevents.
You can also have a separate list for your long term tasks. Thetask list can be arranged several ways so that you can keep it betterorganized. You can also set a due date for the tasks to make sureyou'll remember to do them on time.
You'll also get an alarm when an event or task is due so that youdon't miss it. The alarm can be defined to be set off any durationbefore the actual event so you have time to prepare for it.

· Rainlendar can be run on both Windows and Linux. Both platforms usethe same file formats so all skins and scripts created for Windowsversion will work also on Linux and vice versa.

· Rainlendar supports localization so you can have the userinterface in your own language. Rainlendar is an Unicode application sodifferent character sets can be used at the same time.
· Standards Compatible
· Rainlendar uses standard iCalendar format for it events and tasksto maximize the compatibility with other calendar applications. You caneasily transfer the events from the calendar you are currently using toRainlendar.
· Look'n'feel
· The appearance of the calendar can be changed with skins. Theskins can be of any shape and size and they can also contain buttonsfor additional functionality. It's also possible to combine differentskins by using e.g. the calendar from one skin and event and to do listfrom another. The events can have different appearance depending ontheir category.

· Integrated backup and restore functionality makes it easy to make sure your events safe if something bad happens.

· If you have a lot of events and tasks you can find the one youare looking for easily with the substring search in the Manager dialog.

What's New in This Release:
· o Added "Save As New" menu item to the event and todo dialogs.
· o Installing a license to the Lite version gives a warning.
· o The dialogs remember maximized state.
· o When polling the Google Calendar only the events which have been modified since the last time are read.
· o Offline content (if available) is shown immediately for the Google Calendar.
· o Reading images from mapped remote folders didn't work. Fixed.
· o Improved Mozilla alarm acknowledge support.
· o Changed how the network and Google plugins handle the offline files.
· o The exclude filter for categories is now checked before the include filter.
· o It's now possible to change category of multiple events from the manager dialog.
