Coconut Cookies

Ingredients:
1 full cup - all purpose flour(maida)
1 cup - desiccated coconut
1 - egg
1 cup - sugar
1 tablespoon - baking powder
1/2 teaspoon - salt
1/2 cup - melted butter
a pinch - cinnamon powder (optional)

Method:
Take a bowl, put all the ingredients in it.
Preheat the oven at 350 degrees C(or the max. temperature given in your oven).
Grease the tray, keep aside.
Mix and beat the ingredients together for about 6-7 minutes.
Take a teaspoon of batter and give it round cookies shape and put it on the tray.
Repeat the same method of shaping cookies for every cookie.
Bake it in the oven on 220-250 degrees celsius, till they turn golden brown (about 10-12 minutes).
Serve it with tea or coffee.
Note :
Fresh grated coconut can be used instead of desiccated coconut.
You can reduce the sugar to half cup if it is too fine.
