QUICK CHEESE FONDUE

Fondue is fun whenever your serve it. Dipping, dunking and then losing morsels of food creates a friendly and informal atmosphere among friends and family.

Cheese spread and milk combine to give a thick, creamy and flavourful fondue almost instantly.


Preparation Time : 5 mins.
Cooking Time : 8 mins.

Serves 3 to 4

Ingredients

1 cup milk
1 cup cheese spread
2 tablespoons onion, finely chopped
1 teaspoon cornflour
1/2 teaspoon chilli powder
1 tablespoon butter
salt to taste

For serving

french bread cubes
garlic bread cubes

Method


1. Dissolve the cornflour in 1 tablespoon of cold milk. Keep aside.


2. Heat the butter in a pan, add the onion and sauté for 2 minutes.


3. Add the milk, cheese spread, cornflour solution and salt and mix well.


4. Bring to a boil, while stirring continuously. Sprinkle with chilli powder.


5. Serve hot with pieces of french bread or garlic bread.
