On Thursday, TechShout.com reported about the tragic death of a Korean man who had possibly been killed by an exploding mobile phone battery. But in a turn of events, now the real culprit has been found, and guess what, it is not his mobile phone nor or its battery.
The man called Suh was actually unintentionally killed by a car accident that involves his colleague.

On Wednesday, as Suh breathed his last, news spread across the internet stating that the quarry worker was killed and a melted phone battery was found in his pocket. At that time though it was revealed that it was an LG mobile phone, what was kept under covers was the name of the battery manufacturing company. In fact the probability of him being killed due to the battery was further amplified thanks to the recent events of a few mobile battery explosions. However the possibility of the death being occurred in any other was wasn’t totally ruled out by the police as well.
The truth gradually came to light after the preliminary autopsy results revealed that the damage to Suh’s internal organs were too intense for them to be caused by a mobile phone explosion. After which the police headed to investigate Suh’s colleague, who was incidentally the man informed the police about his colleague’s death.
On cross questioning, the colleague known as Kwon (surname) admitted to the police that he had accidentally killed Suh while he was backing up a drilling vehicle. The reason he reported about the death and misled the police authorities is more than obvious.
Min Kang-gi, a detective in Chungju, stated that Kwon further added that after the accident, he moved his vehicle to wipe out evidence. However he did not say if it was him who had set the mobile phone on fire.
In the entire incident, the one who perhaps now walks out with the widest smile would be LG, after being adjudged that its phone was not at fault.
