A free antivirus tool for protection against computer viruses

· AVG Free cannot be installed on server operating systems (such as Windows Server 2003), nor can it be used for the scanning of network drives

AVG antivirus software ? I never used it before, I have been using NOD32 and 360 Guard antivirus software. What's the advantages of AVG ?

Performs 'competently' provided you keep it up to date
Not so resource hungry.
Anyway NOD32 is little bit best.But AVG "ll be a perfect choice.

i use nod32... its working perfect for me....
but its not a freeware... i recommend avira more than avg....
avg is consumes alot of resources... plus it takes time to load on startup.........

i cant say anything about avira bcz i'm not using it.But this has set a record for downloading.

Depends on ur pc....i'm facing nothing problem.
it takes time to load on startup.........
yup it takes 30 seconds to load on my computer :D :lol: :lol:

i agree to saagar.
Avira is is a nice choice in freeware.
and its update is really fast and small

but guess what if u write "antivirus" in google search and hit im feeling lucky... ull be redirected to avg website :D lol quite surprising !!
