Sagarika Ghatge, born 8 January 1986, is an Indian actress, mostly known for her role of Preeti Sabarwal in the sports-oriented movie Chak De India, starring Shahrukh Khan.
She was born in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, and went to Chatrapati Shahu School in Kolhapur until 8th grade. She completed her 10th and 12th grades at Mayo College, Ajmer, Rajasthan and her graduation from HR college, Mumbai. She used to play hockey in her college time.
