Confirming this, Tushna Master, spokesperson for Sen said, "Sushmita's sister and daughter have planned a surprise party for her." So, what gifts is she expecting? "She is a wonderful poet and a voracious reader. Most of the time she gets books which makes her extremely happy," says a source. On the professional front, Sushmita has signed Tanuja Chandra's Rocking, where she plays a rock singer. "I was extremely excited about the project. I have never played such a role in my career and I am looking forward to it," says Sushmita.
As she matures, Sushmita's selection of roles is also undergoing change. Once back from Europe, she will get started with her next production. A close associate says, "Sush is planning to start her own production and make films which she believes in. She wants to make Jhansi Ki Rani with Chandraprakash Dwivedi, but it is too early to talk about the project. She is also planning to produce a fun-filled movie by next year."
Recently Sushmita completed her shooting schedule in Hollywood with Naomi Campbell for Holy Karma and Confession. Produced by Sa Re Ga Ma Films, the English film also stars Randeep Hooda. "It was a nice experience," says Sushmita without drawing any comparisons between Hollywood and Bollywood, "They are better equipped and have a different style of working. It makes no sense in comparing two different industries."

Early next year Sushmita's Chingari will be released. Directed by Kalpana Lajmi, the film also stars Anuj Shawney and Mithun Chakraborty. When asked about being approached by Rituparno Ghosh for his Draupadi she says, "No one has approached me for Draupadi. Rituparno is a brilliant filmmaker and if I like the subject I might consider it."
