flowing deep and wide
I'll row my boat
To the other side

It's not a place
On some far distant shore
It is there,
Peace and joy, I'll feel once more

When in times, I'm weary
Troubles bother me
When waves are so high
I cannot see

There is a place I will go
It's water
Cool refreshing
Where I find refuge--- for my soul

Down at the river
Waters flow so sweet
It is there,
God I will meet

In the early dawn
Beside the river I'll take a walk
I'll sit down in the silence
There to Him I will talk

When hearing my prayer
He will come
Meeting me there---
In God's love forever I dwell

I thank Him for
The gifts He gave
When my soul He saved

For this joy
This happiness
I am thankful
I am blessed

These hills

must climb
