HP dv2, dv3, and dv6 Cheaper Laptops
HP has launched a few new laptops for students(HP cheaper dv2, dv3, and dv6 Laptops).12.1-inch Pavilion dv2, the 13.3-inch dv3t, and the 16-inch dv6t and dv6 Artist Edition 2. The AMD-powered dv2 starts at $599 equipped with a single or dual core Neo processor, 4GB of RAM, a hard drive with a capacity of up to 500GB, and even a Blu-Ray drive.Going from $649 up, the dv3t weighs under 2.26kg, and features a Pentium Dual Core or Core 2 Dup CPU, 2 to 8GB of RAM, a HDD also topping 500GB, the GMA 4500MHD integrated graphics or a GeForce G 105M card, and Windows Vista (Home Premium/Business/Ultimate).



The Pavilion dv6 models pack a Core 2 Duo CPU, up to 8GB of DDR2 memory, a HDD of up to 500GB, the GMA 4500MHD IGP or a Radeon HD 4530/HD 4650 discrete graphics card, and, like the dv3t, Windows Vista. The dv6 has a starting price of $649, while the dv6z Artist Edition 2, which comes with the winning design from the 2008 HP MTV Notebook Design Contest (seen here), and software like Coral Video Studio X2, Painter Sketchpad and Paint Shop Pro Photo X2, kicks off at $949.
