low internet speed GPRS

hello i m from india here i m useing AIRTEL GPRS connection for internet throw my mobile MOTOROLA SLVR (L7) throw data cable. company says that u can use this connection up tp 115 kbps, me connected always 230.4kbps as show in the task. but when i brows or doing any thing on internet i can get only 5 to 15 kbps even all users useing this same GPRS connections all can get same low speed, can any one help me to increase this speed i will very thank full

I use Airtel GPRS since 2 years and you are right that the speed of this connection is very slow. cos airtel provide only this speed. For this u can use Sony ericsson phone or PDA mobile (O2, Qtek, Imate) there u will got a better speed but not 115 kbps.

The other option u can change to BSNL GPRS. its 65/- cheaper than airtel cos monthly rental only 100(sim charge) + 299 (GPRS) + Service Tax.
so it will around 330, and for airtel i think u r giving right now 395/- for prepaid and 450 for post paid. and u will got better speed from airtel in Bsnl connection.
