Vestalife's new docks are designed by RKS-design. The Firefly and Jewelbox speaker systems aren't your usual iPod docks. Firefly possesses some sophisticated organic curved hinges open to reveal a docking area in the center. The Jewelbox is also round in shape. It's touch-sensitive and opens to reveal the dock and speakers.Vestalife will be shortly launching a new series of docks at CES and Macworld this month. These come after the success of the Ladybug and the Butterfly, their other iPod docks. These docks are nicely designed and easily differentiate themselves from what's out there. The only difference between Firefly and Jewelbox, is that Jewelbox doesn't come with a built-in subwoofer and the general shape. Firefly enfolds your iPod/iPhone, whereas Jewelbox makes space by shifting around the speakers.
"We've been thrilled at how the Ladybug and Butterfly have captured the US market and paved the way for Vestalife as a strong lifestyle brand," says Vestalife founder and CEO Wayne Ludlum. "As our feet are now firmly planted as an established brand in the electronics marketplace, we are thrilled to announce this new partnership with RKS, which we feel will help develop and expand our product line, while maintaining our important core values of connecting emotionally to the diverse spectrum of Vestalife consumers."
