thoughts race across my mind
almost on the brink of insanity
should i chase after you

or should i just sit here and watch you go

yet remaining silent
with my face impassive

so afraid to show my weakness
yet even more afraid of loosing you forever
my heart screams for you to stay
my tongue silenced by my uncertainties and doubts

yet my pride chaining me
not only to this chair that im sitting on
but to the asurance
of how painfull
of how empty
