The way you make me feel,
there’s no way to describe,
I have indescribable feelings,
I tremble by the sounds of your breath
Sneaking up on my neck,
behind me, and pain only hurts when you think about it.
Last night I cried because the thought of you on my mind,
it had seemed as though the world I had standed on,
tilted on its axis, but didn’t Seem to let me fall,
but as I said before, pain only hurts when you think about it
I loved and cared for you and stuck by your side,
and all you did is let me suffer and watch me tear,
you let me bleed internally and ripped out my soul with your bear hands,
and in so many ways I just couldn’t understand.
I couldn’t understand you, I couldn’t understand life,
I couldn’t understand anyone or anything, I couldn’t understand me,
and yet, pain only hurts when you think about it.
I tried to leave, I tried to escape,
I tried to let go, but holing on too long left me stranded,
now alone am I, all alone I am
Stuck, lost, and hopeless to even think of trying to find another love,...
and I cant seem to get my mind and priorities right, so once again,
I’m hurt, I’m sad, I’m In misery,
so it had to be all a dream, but it wasn’t,
but now I know, pain hurts the heart, soul, mind, and spirit,
so when I told myself pain only hurts when you think about it
I fooled myself, because look at me now,
I tried not to think about it, and I didn’t,
I managed to pull through, but in a way it was still in the back of my mind,
so now I say, pain hurts only when you try to erase it.
