In Battlefield 1942, you fight World War II's historic battles when theAxis Powers meet the Allies in different parts of the world. You fightthe battles of Midway, the D-Day invasion in Normandy, and the war inNorth Africa and Japan, where millions of people fight and give theirlives on land, at sea, and in the air.
The game is a first-person shooter with many assignments spreadover four campaigns. Several players can fight online on widebattlefields and control airplanes, tanks, and aircraft carriers. Theweapons are easy to handle, but to be successful in Battlefield 1942you must be cunning and have stamina.
