Baked Pastry Samosa

Ingredients
For Pastry Sheet:
All purpose flour 1 cup
Cold water 1/4 cup
Oil/Butter 4 tbsp
Egg 1
Salt as required
For Filling:
Potatoes 2 Large (boiled)
Green peas 1/2 cup cooked
Onion 1 finely chopped
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Coriander seeds 2 tsp (crushed coarsely)
Green chillies 3-4 (chopped)
Ginger Garlic paste 1 tbsp
Garam masala 1/2 tbsp
Coriander leaves 1/4 cup
Lime juice 2 tsp
Salt as required

Directions
1- Take a large bowl and make a firm smooth dough by mixing all purpose flour, butter, salt. Then keep it covered for 15-20 minutes.
2- Take a frying pan and heat the oil. Now add chopped onion, cumin seeds, ginger garlic paste and salt and fry till the onions become soft.
3- Add coriander seeds and green chillies and mix it well.
4- Then add mashed potatoes and mix it and then add peas and keep stirring it.
5- Adjust the salt as required.
6- Finally add garam masala, coriander leaves and lime juice and mix it and cook for one more minute.
7- Remove it from stove and let it cool down.
8- Now make small balls from the dough and roll out each portion into round shape. Then make two semi circles by cutting the round dough.
9- Put some potato mixture in the center and lift oncer and fold it over to make a cone shape.
10- Then lift the other edge and fold it over to the opposite end. Now press it slightly to seam the ends.
11- After finishing filling all the samosas, beat the egg slightly and pour it on top of the samosa.
12- In a preheated oven at 400F degrees, bake them for 15-20 minutes until they turn golden brown.
13- You can serve them hot with mint sauce or ketchup.
