A lot of men and women claim that they are not in the right shape that is they do not look fresh and healthy because of them being skinny as we all know that skinny is also totally out of fashion. Following the 5 ways to gain weight fast.

1) Increase the intake of dairy products like milk (full cream), butter, cheese and creamy food items. This will not only be an excellent way to gain weight but will prove to be very healthy for you too.

2) Lower down the intake of vegetables and start on having meaty things like eat eggs and meat; the meat can be chicken, beef, mutton or fish.

3) If you have not been eating deserts or sweet things, start eating them but make sure you are not going for unhealthy stuff.

4) Say YES to snacking and keep snacks that are healthy for you around you at all times. You can have munch nuts, muffins and other things.

5) Go for workouts and exercises that build up muscles so that you can gain weight and look fit at the same time.

Important - Your metabolism starts to slow down once you start to get older. So in 10 or 20 years time you will sing a different tune.
but having said that .....

Ok here's the deal ... since I have done metabolism related research ..... the more you eat the more weight you could possibly lose. There are genes/signals inside our body which are related to metabolism and when you eat too much, they gets turned on and signals your body "we have enough food" so start burning and using extra storage. So the body increases metabolism and starts to burn what you eat faster. So the whole idea about starving to lose weight doesn't work because these signals, when there isn't enough food will tell the body "starvation time ... preserve what he/she ate". So what ever you eat, they will start to store. This is why if you want to lose weight, its a good idea to eat 6-7 meals a day.

Now since you need to gain weight .... I'd say do the opposite .. eat only 3 meals a day and make the meals rich in fats and carbohydrates, but don't forget the proteins. A balanced meal is required for the correct signals in the body to work. So I'd say stop eating all the time and eat 2-3 meals a day but make them very rich and bigger meals.

Believe it or not but fruits are good to gain weight because of the sugar they contain. Have some chocolates and ice cream. Rice and potatoes are good sources of carbohydrates and I would consume good olive oil cooking or otherwise. Be careful that you don’t consume the wrong kind of fats. Even though gaining weight is your priority, it’s important that you eat the right kind of food. Eggs are a good source and so are fish and chicken.
