Microsoft has launched Microsoft Office online version with Office Web Apps. This comes with renaming of the service suits that were available with earlier office Web apps. So you can use all those features as Word Online, Excel Online, PowerPoint Online and OneNote Online.
It was essential for Microsoft to launch this revamp as Google Drive was gaining much prominence. Most of the critics hammered earlier Office Web Apps because it was hard to make it work on your smartphone or other gadgets. It was placed where reaching it was not as easy as it should have been. With this changed name, Microsoft has tried to solve this problem as well. Microsoft has also made attempts to make sharing and collaborating with other users through Microsoft Online to be much easier.
Templates of Excel, Word and PowerPoint are present in hundreds to help those who are new to Microsoft office Online and to even make the old users accustomed to the rebranded version.
