1/2kg Lean Lamb Mince
1 Egg
1 White Bread Slice
1 Onion - very finely chopped
1 Handful Fresh Parsley Leaves - chopped
1 teaspoon Pepper Flakes
1/2 teaspoon Oregano
1 teaspoon Garlic Flakes or Garlic powder
Salt to taste
4-6 tablespoon Olive Oil
METHOD
1. Add mince to a bowl and add salt, garlic powder/flakes, oregano, pepper flakes and mix well
2. Next add the onions and mix well
3. Place bread slice in a food processor and blitz for 1 minute to make fresh breadcrumbs
4. Add breadcrumbs, parsley, egg to the mince mixture and mix well
5. Roll into small balls
6. Heat the oil in a Non stick frying pan
7. Add mince balls in batches and fry till cooked turning occasionally
8. Serve immediately
9. Goes great with sliced pitta bread, hummus, olives, and other dips
