Alice Pasquini Large Murals On Stairways

Roman artist Alice Pasquini created colorful murals along the walls of a large staircase to celebrates the life and work of Italian poet Alfonso Gatto. He also painted the words of Gatto's poetry along the steps. As visitors climb up to inspect the details of the black and white people, ships, and birds set against splashes of blues and purples, they can enjoy the eloquent language of one of the most important Italian poets of the 20th century.
