NYNE Waterproof Speaker
NYNE announced it's floatable bluetooth waterproof speaker at CES. The unit is IPX7-rated, meaning it can be immersed in water up to 3.2 ft (1 m) in depth for up to 30 minutes. Since the speaker is designed to float, it shouldn't be descending to depths greater than that without some help.
With the ability to stream music from a Bluetooth-enabled device at distances of up to 33 ft (10 m) and the inclusion of a built in waterproof microphone, users can control music playback and answer calls while the wirelessly connected device stays at a safe distance from potential splashes.
Aqua will be available in grey and blue from the second quarter of 2014, with a MSRP of US$129.95.
