A legendary filmmaker, Yash Chopra changed the face area of romance in Hindi cinema to become brand in Bollywood with plenty of hits under his belt in the five-decade long illustrious career.

Chopra(80), who had been one of the pillars in Bollywood, directed a number of Indian cinema's most successful and iconic films, such as the action thriller " Deewar" which established megastar Amitabh Bachchan because the "angry young man".

Yash Chopra started his film career employed by his brother before establishing Yash Raj Films on and on on to produce a lot more than 40 movies - 12 of these as director.
