One of the most distinguished Sagittarius the archer myth is about Chiron getting wounded by a poisoned arrow. Some stories tell that Hercules accidentally shot Chiron with his poisoned arrow while some myth of the Sagittarius tells it came from a serpent. The bottom point however is that Chiron, despite being a great healer, cannot heal himself and did not die only because he found favor from the gods because of his wisdom. Chiron, therefore is commonly called as the wounded healer.
