Feel like your phone is lacking a front facing camera for video calling friends? A simple idea comes from Ciccarese Design, who introduces the concept of a small clip-on mirror to your Android, iPhone or really any phone you can think of. Android 2.3, known as Gingerbread features a much more native video calling service, unlike third party apps in the past like Qik. However, only a small portion of devices out there have front facing cameras, and this little mirror aims to solve that. Another big advantage of this attachment is that rather than the standard 1.3 megapixel front facing camera, since it uses your rear mirror, which can be as high resolution as the Nokia N8, you get far clearer picture when calling friends.
Would you be interested in such a product? This really seems like a cheap and affordable option for those who want to call relatives but don't want to invest in a big smartphone like the HTC Evo 4G or iPhone 4. No word on a release date of this yet, as it is only a drawn concept, but I am really looking forward to it.
