When time stands still around us
And nothing else I see
Not velvet nights and moon beams
Nor starlight's soft beauty
Though the warm breeze may whisper
And zephyr winds may rush
To leave hair in a tangle
And skin a light pink blush
My heart beats in slow motion
Helpless; I'm mesmerized
Held captive in this moment
Breathless; I'm hypnotized
No, it's not the night above
The moon, the stars nor breeze
That stirs softly this passion
This slow romantic tease
It's found in the eyes of love
Gazing right back at me
When time stands still around us
Your beauty's all I see
And I could live a lifetime
In the love from your eyes
That shines brighter than a night
Of moonlit starry skies
Though the stars may be dancing
To loves soft heart beat
In wild anticipation
Of when our lips shall meet
The only sound I can hear
Is your soft breath with mine
The only dance I will do
Is in your arms, divine
The only blush I can feel
Isn't from this warm wind
Just the soft sweep of your lips
As gently our souls blend
And I could catch forever
Hold it safe in my heart
With just one breathless promise
That we shall never part
