Lenovo Thinkpad X200s and X200t Notebook - Reviews

Post by sheeza » Sep 20, 2008 Views: 4244

The Lenovo Thinkpad X200s is designed for business travelers, offering a 12 inch screen and claimed to be as thin as the X300 with a battery life of over 13 hours with an optional high capacity battery. The Lenovo Thinkpad x200t, set to replace the x61t, features a dual swivel hinged 12 inch tablet screen, with battery options allegedly offering up to 15 hours with the lowest voltage processor.

Lenovo offers a wide variety of options for both devices, including 1.86GHz SL9400, 1.6GHz SL9300, and 1.2GHz SU9300 Intel Core 2 Duo low power consumption processors. Storage options include 64GB/128GB solid state drives, 5400RPM disc drives up to 320GB, or 7200RPM up to 200GB. Configurations are available with memory up to 4GB of 1066MHz DDR3 memory.

An Ultrabase will be available to add a DVD/Blu-ray optical drive or second hard drive, and charge a second battery. Pricing for the X200s will start at $2,242, with the basic X200t at $2,323. Both will start shipping next week.
