
The netbook will include 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi as well as an Ethernet port. Three USB ports will be able to charge connected USB devices even when the netbook is in sleep mode thanks to Toshiba’s software. A 0.3-megapixel webcam is similarly part of the spec sheet. Toshiba says the NB100 will tip the scales at less than 2.2lbs.

Roughly two weeks earlier, a related report had the nearly identical NB105 launching in Mexico in November. The NB100 will be available in the UK in black, gold or silver colors as of this October, priced at the equivalent of about $470 (£260). The company hasn't announced plans for a North American launch.
