Nokia C5-03 Low Cost Touchscreen Phone
The Nokia C5-03 is a low cost touchscreen phone, offering 3.5G support, WiFi and GPS in a package that should retail for about €170 before tax and subsidy.
It will work on both 2G and 3G networks. The dimension is of 105.8 x 51 x 13.8 mm, 65 cc, and will weigh a mere 93 gm. Its touchscreen will be a 3.2 inches long TFT resistive one that will have a resolution of 360 x 640 pixels to give an astounding experience to its users. And this striking phone will be able to recognize the handwriting, as handwriting recognition software will be present in it with an accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate, and a proximity sensor for auto turn-off are available.
Further, the users would be able to check their call records up to 30 days, as it will have an internal memory space of 4GB, and a 128 MB RAM. The users would be able to add an additional or external memory up to 16GB, as an external card slot would be available in it.
Its in-built WLAN will give a 24 x 7 hassle free Wi-Fi internet access to its users. Nokia is providing ‘Symbian OS v9.4, Series 60 rel. 5’ as an OS for the outstanding gadget that will get the required power from an ARM 11 600 MHz processor.
Moreover, this gadget will have a speakerphone with stereo speakers, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. Nokia C5-03 will support a social networking website called Facebook. In various colours such as Graphite Black, Lime Green, Petrol Blue, and Aluminum Grey it will be available. Nokia has not given its cost price but as per sources its cost would be approx. Rs. 10,700.
