Post by chandoo » Aug 22, 2008 Views: 4818

Before starting her career off as an actress, Sonam Kapoor worked as an assistant under Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and assisted him during the making of his film, Black (2005). She made her debut alongside newcomer Ranbir Kapoor in Bhansali's Saawariya (2007), which failed to do well at the box office. Her performance was opened to good response by most critics. As of August 2008, Kapoor has completed filming for Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's Dilli 6, which will release on January 23, 2009

She might not have become the heartthrob of the nation with her first film like her counterpart Deepika Padukone. She might have even failed to become the heartthrob of the one boy who was eventually snatched away by the same competitor, but Sonam Kapoor has definitely arrived. At least on all the possible fashion-mag covers. Here's a collection of all the fashion magazines she has spiced up. Take a look!

The latest addition to Sonam's list is Elle. The actress is on the cover of the magazine for the August issue. After losing oodles of weight, this actress is wearing a lime green dress for this one. Sonam has also featured on the cover of Femina for their Valentine's Day special issue and on Filmfare and Rouge, TOI's special supplement for women. Eventually, the Welcome beauty found her true calling in the make-believe world of Bollywood.

Sonam shot for the British fashion magazine Grazia in a blue Drashta outfit. In keeping with tone of the magazine, Sonam looked subtly sexy for this one.

Sonam shot for the first cover around the same time her debut film released in November 2007. She flanked the cover of L'Officiel for it's bridal special issue. Looking absolutely gorgeous in a bridal outfit and shot by Atul Kasbekar, Sonam could have given any model a run for their money with this one.

From being an Indian bride for L'Officiel, Sonam became the hot and sultry seductress for Cosmopolitan. She wore a black seductive outfit for the cover of the magazine. Shot by Daboo Ratnani, this is also one of Sonam's favourite.

After that came Verve. Sonam flashed her million dollar smile on the cover of the magazine wearing a Christian Dior outfit. Shot by Vishesh Verma, Sonam looked innocent yet glamorous in this one.
