It is widely believed that caffeine actually provides you energy and helps you get refreshed to continue with the relevant task; to your amazement the fact is somewhat ironical. Looking at the phenomenon from a scientific point of view; caffeine does not provide you with any energetic substance but in fact fools you. The actual action mechanism of caffeine includes an intricate phenomenon. In this process your brains secretes ‘Adenosineâ€￾ chemical compound when it is tired and desires some rest. The chemical compound released by brain passes to significant cells known as receptors, where it undermines chemical functioning avoiding further stimulation of brain. When you consume caffeine through any source, it imitates the secreted chemical adenosine so that it can mimic its purpose at the receptors but do no have any counteracting effect of adenosine. It does not allow adenosine to pass through and undermine the functioning of chemical which stimulates your brains but in fact it builds up stimulants. This keeps your brain invigorated as the signals to slow down is not passed.

Caffeine has both good effects and bad effects. Good effect of caffeine is that it enhances alertness, enhances memory and increases learning ability. It also makes thoughts clearer. Bad effect of the substance includes tremor of limbs, reduced appetite, sleeplessness, abnormal heart beat etc; these effects are seen when a person gets addicted to caffeine and requires higher doses.Instant coffee that is consumed contains approximately 65 milligrams of caffeine, brewed coffee contains about 80 milligram of caffeine and the highest amount of caffeine is recorded in dipped coffees which contains around 155 milligrams of coffee.
