Anushka Sharma is set to romance Shahrukh in the film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. Bangalore based model Anushka Sharma has been roped in by Yash Raj Films to portray the character of a small town Punjabi girl in the film. It’s a dream come true for the nineteen year model to debut opposite Bollywood heartthrob Shahrukh and that too in a Yash Raj film.



wanted someone who could truly embody the spirit of small town Punjab. The veteran film maker claims that in Anushka they have found that same spark. Anushka has no previous acting experience and has so far been involved only in modeling. She was picked up for last year’s Lakme Fashion Week and modeled for the creations of Designer Wendell Rodrick.
