Buried is directed by Rodrigo Cortes and the concept sees Paul Conroy (Ryan Reynolds), a contractor working in Iraq, who is abducted by a group of Iraqis.
He wakes to find he is buried alive inside a coffin. With only a lighter and a cell phone for company it's a race against time to escape this claustrophobic death trap.
Many will say this has been done before, and they'd be half right - CSI once filmed an episode where one of the stars was buried in the middle of the desert.
The big difference with Buried is Reynolds is the only actor we see on screen. Every minute of the film is spent in that coffin with him as he calls for help and tries to direct them to his location.
