Craze For Play - Games On The Chart
To spending a lot of time indoors here is the awesome collection of games that goes something like this:Red Dead Redemption
Developer Rockstar look at reviving the now dormant Western genre with Red Dead Redemption, a free roaming romp through the Wild West that’s way more ambitious than GTA IV. Based on the very same tech that fueled their urban crime saga, RDR will immerse players in its main campaign and allow them to explore the vast game world with a plethora of activities to indulge in.

Alan Wake
In production of nearly half a decade now, Alan Wake marks developer Remedy’s return to the world of cinematic gaming. It follows the exploits of Alan Wake, a writer who after suffering from writer’s block, moves to the spooky town of Bright Falls, where he not only loses his wife, but finds out that darkness is a sinister force to be reckoned with.

Lost Planet 2
Killing gigantic bugs in mechs sounds cool, but killing gigantic bugs in mechs with four of your buddies sounds even better and that is what Lost Planet 2 is in a nutshell. And apparently the '2' in Lost Planet 2 doesn’t only symbolize a sequel, but also denotes how much bigger in scope the sequel is.

Blur
From the guys who brought you the Project Gotham Racing series comes an arcade racer that’s a total departure from their previous stuff. Axing sim-esque gameplay for all out arcade mayhem, Blur will allow you to not only race against your foes but decimate them using a bunch of power ups.

Prince of Persia: Forgotten Sands
Loosely based on the upcoming movie Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, Forgotten Sands is more a nod to its movie namesake than a direct sequel of the most recent game. Manipulating time, traversing a wide variety of puzzles, and taking down your foes using a bunch of acrobatic maneuvers seems to be the order of the day here.

Modnation Racers
At first glance, Modnation Racers looks like a cross between LittleBigPlanet and Mario Kart. The LBP part comes from the emphasis on user created content while gameplay strongly resembles the Mario Kart series, allowing players to annihilate their competition using pick-ups like sonic attacks, missiles, lightning strikes etc. in a very kid friendly sort of way.

UFC: Undisputed 2010
The MMA craze sweeping the world has begun creeping into video games as well with last year’s UFC: Undisputed 2009 being hailed a surprise sleeper hit. The game, like the sport, was a no holds barred contest between two men locked in a cage beating each other senseless using a myriad of fighting styles. UFC: Undisputed 2010 will feature additional gameplay mechanics, newer fighters and venues, among other changes.

Split/Second
As we’ve seen in tons of movies and games, reality shows in the future are a bitch, and in most cases result in the losers dying horrific deaths. Split /Second is one such game show that pits players against one another in a race to the death for the sake of TRP ratings. Performing swanky moves like drifting and drafting will allow you to detonate environmental hazards, decimating your foes in the bargain.
