The journey has total length of 700 km approximately exact kilometres yaad nahi somewhere in between 650 to 750 km.and if you start your journey at 8:00 am in morning then you can easily reach there at evening.Taqreban 8 ya 9 ghante ka safar hai considering normal driving conditions.
Safety ka koi khaas problem nahi but I recommend you to go with family.
The drive is incredibly smooth and the scenery is breathtaking. One can see mountains with astonishing wind-carved rock formations on them on one side and pristine beaches on the other — the drive is a treat for nature lovers.
Well you will see Mud volcanoes on the way which is an unforgettable experience.even there is a mud volcano near the gwadar beach.
Some Points to remember for your benefit.
1. The journey from Karachi to Uthal, where the highway starts, is an unpleasant experience because of heavy traffic. This leg alone takes between 90 to 150 minutes.
2.There are very few petrol stations on the way to Gwadar and fewer still in Gwadar city. Iranian petrol is available and costs between Rs25 to Rs35 per litre.
3. There are no resting areas for the eight-hour-long journey. you must be well-stocked with food and drinks because there are no rest stops till one reaches Gwadar.
4. Villages (Mostle fisherman villages)can be seen all along the coast after a little gaps. Their inhabitants live in poverty, with no civic amenities and lack of health and education facilities
5.There are just one or two good hotels there at Gwadar.and a large hotel is beeing under construction.
6.The highway has 90 km approximately long hilly and mountaineous area which is the most beautiful part of the journey.
